I had a great time out in the forest yesterday. The sun had just disappeared under the horizon behind me. It was a beautiful sunset but the view I photographed was even more beautiful.

Cold sunset
Sunday’s sunset was a cold and beautiful one. You can see a slice of the moon as well.

First snow.
Yesterday, Tuesday 16 October the first snow fell in the area I’m living in. I only had my iPhone 4s with me, but it didn’t matter. I captured the photo I wanted!
Close ups can be fabulous, but I like to show the environment the bird or the animal is living in.
This is a European Kestrel hovering in search of food.
