I photographed a wedding this past weekend at Vitterhuset just outside Åsele. I’m not finished with the edit of the wedding images yet. But I did a quick edit of some images of the place where the ceremony and the reception took place.

Here’s another re edit photo that I’m will be uploading to my online archive. Yesterday I posted another image from Kvällån with I also had re edit.
I’m in a process of on building a photo archive online and I’m going through my entire library of images. And I’m finding a lot of photos that I edited a couple of years ago in a style that was appealing to me at that time.
But taste change over the years. Back then I liked high contrast and saturated colors. Today I am a little more careful with the contrast and colors.
I made this photo in June 2009 and the stream are Kvällån in Åsele.
Burnt forest along the stream Stamsjöån.
Starting this week with a black & white image I did this weekend. A couple of years ago there was a controlled fire here. I overexposed slightly on this gray and cloudy day to make it a high-key image.
Edit in Lightroom using the VCSO Film Pack 2 and Nikon D800E, 70-200/2,8, ISO 320, 1/500s and f9.
Aurora borealis over lake Stamjön.
I always look at the aurora forecast Geophysical Institute i Alaska makes. And last night the aurora activity was predicted to be moderate. The aurora wasn’t as strong as I had hoped. But, I think I captured a pretty decent image.
