eBook or a real book?

(Edit: I had to remove the poll because it created some problems on the site.)

You’ve probably seen a cartoon in which a light bulb pops up above his head – an idea!
It happened to me today. I got an idea for a book. But then came the question of which format, ebook or a real book?

I must admit I am a photo-book fanatic! A couple times a year, I buy a couple of photo books. There is nothing better than to hold a book with a fine paper and printing. Especially now, during the dark autumn and winter! That’s the advantage of a real book.

The advantage of an ebook should be that it saves paper and you can easily take you a couple of books when traveling, for example. And another advantage is price.

So, please leave a comment! eBook or a real book?

I’m alive!

I’ve been pretty conservative with updates on my blog and on my facbook and twitter for some time. The reason is that I have not had the time and energy. The photos show what I have been doing in the recent weeks.

Overshoot day

Today is Overshoot day – the day on which this year’s resources of renewable assets rub out. In 2009 Overshoot day occurred more the a month earlier, on September 25th.

If everyone would live like Swedes, we would need three planets. More than five planets if the American lifestyle would spread globally.

Isn’t it awful? We can all do something so future generations can have a decent life!

Memories of summer

Summer is coming to an end. What keeps me going during the cold and dark winter is memories of spring and summer.

My first close encounter with a Osprey

My first close encounter with a Osprey (Pandion haliaetus)!

The image is far from sharp. But there are so many crisp images of ospreys and we do not need more of them…

But I’ll be honest and say I was surprised when it suddenly showed up. I photographed something else and I didn’t have the time to change the settings on the camera.
It happened so fast so I just took aim at the bird.

Best of July

Maybe a bit late but this panorama of lake Stamsjön is my favorite from the month of July.
